Each year, the Religious Studies Department host the Text and Context Symposium, an opportunity for faculty to present work in progress, and provide a forum for graduate students to gain practical experience in preparing and delivering a conference paper. This year’s theme is Religion out of Place, and keynote was delivered by Dr. Courtney Bender, Columbia University.
